How the selfie check works

You take a short live selfie in-app. No document, no photo upload from your gallery.

We compare it to your profile photos to confirm they're really you. That's it.

You get the green Verified Rider badge. You can remove it anytime from settings.
What happens to your selfie
- The selfie is used only to verify that your profile photos are you.
- It is never shown on your profile, in matches, or in chats.
- It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train third-party AI.
- You can delete your verification and the selfie from settings at any moment.

Common questions
- Is verification required?
- No. It's 100% voluntary. You can use TwoUp! without the green badge - but verified profiles tend to get more matches.
- Do you scan my ID or documents?
- No. We only compare a live selfie to your profile photos. No passport, no driving licence, no ID upload.
- Who can see that I'm verified?
- Everyone sees just the green badge next to your name. Nobody sees the selfie itself.
- Can I remove the badge later?
- Yes - one tap in settings removes both the badge and the selfie.
